IMMEDIATELY Testing/Interviewing   Combo Welders/Fitters & Welders

Location: Hollywood, South Carolina

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Compensation

• Combo Welders & Fitters:$25–$26/hour + $150 Daily Per Diem
• Welders:$22–$23/hour + $150 Daily Per Diem
• $500 Production Bonus if goals are met
• Travel Candidates Eligible for Per Diem for Up to One Year

Schedule & Shift Options

• 10–15 Hours of Overtime Weekly
• Night Shift: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM, Monday–Thursday
• OT Available Friday/Saturday
• Must Be Willing to Travel to South Carolina for the Duration of the Contract

Position Summary

We are actively seeking skilled and motivated Combo Welders & Fitters to support the fabrication of high-precision steel components for NAVSEA-related projects. Ideal candidates will have experience in flux core and pulse welding, strong fitting skills, and the ability to interpret detailed structural blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform flux core and pulse welding on large steel structures
• Fit and align components to blueprint specifications
• Interpret welding symbols and schematics accurately
• Inspect welds for NAVSEA compliance
• Use measuring tools (tape measures, framing squares, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5+ years experience in structural welding and fitting
• Proficiency in flux core and pulse welding (required)
• Strong blueprint interpretation skills
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals down to 1/16" and 1/32"
• Experience in shipyards or NAVSEA projects preferred
• Familiarity with NAVSEA standards and welding codes is a plus

• 3G Flux Core Weld Test
• 3G Pulse Weld Test
• Blueprint Reading Assessment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
