Are you skilled in welding and ready to join a dynamic team? PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a talented Welder to join us on the 2nd shift in Torrance, CA!

Role Summary:

As a Welder at PDS Tech Commercial, you will join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the structural soundness of completed welds by interpreting blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using welding techniques.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness.
• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Work under immediate supervision and report to a supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in welding or a related field.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in welding.
• Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.

Preferred:

• Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in welding.

Special Considerations:

• Lifting will exceed 30 lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
• Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological, or other physical risks is anticipated.

Pay Details: 29.00 per hour
