Job Description
Job brief:
We are looking for a reliable delivery driver who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transportation of items in an orderly, timely manner. The delivery driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
Responsibilities:
Delivering items to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers.
Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining safety standards.
Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety.
Accept payment for delivered items.
Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Handling delivery logs and records.
[Work Hours & Benefits]
Working Hours: 8hrs per day (Monday - Friday) or (Tuesday - Saturday), two breaks between working hours with sick days off
Minimum weekly guarantee of $800.
Qualified applicants will get an upfront payment of half the promised pay once application has been received and approved. Then you will get the balance at the end of the week for the first week.
Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods and routes.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Valid drivers license.
Clean driving record.
