Marketing Manager – Artisan-Focused eCommerce Brand

Location: Onsite in Seattle, WA

Duration: 4-Month W2 Contract (High Potential for FTE Conversion)

Pay: $40–$49/hour (Depending on Experience)

We’re partnering with one of the world’s leading online retailers (think: the Etsy of enterprise eCommerce) to find a Marketing Manager who can champion independent creators and artisans across North America.

This is your opportunity to shape seasonal campaigns, dive deep into marketing analytics, and elevate both the customer shopping journey and the artisan seller experience — all while working alongside a collaborative and high-exposure team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create customer-facing marketing campaigns for handmade and artisan goods across seasonal events such as Back to School, Labor Day, and Holiday
  • Manage onsite merchandising and placements including landing pages, category pages, and promotional campaigns
  • Develop seller-facing content such as newsletters, educational webinars, and forum updates
  • Analyze weekly business data and translate insights into marketing optimizations using Excel, SQL, and Tableau
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, analytics, and the broader North American marketing teams
  • Support internal performance reporting and campaign storytelling for leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Recent experience in digital marketing, campaign management, and online content merchandising
  • Skilled in analyzing marketing data, including click-through rates and sales trends
  • Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, trend analysis)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Arborist, Content Symphony, Sophia, Daily Orders is ideal
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Tableau strongly preferred
  • Previous experience at enterprise brands like Amazon, Starbucks, Nordstrom, or Expedia is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience at Amazon or within a large-scale eCommerce environment
  • Experience developing both customer- and seller-facing marketing content
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines

Please Note:

  • This role does not include event planning, field marketing, or in-person customer marketing
  • Candidates must have digital marketing and merchandising experience — storefront or physical retail backgrounds are not a fit
