Job Title: Weekend Door Security Personnel

Location: Dust Bowl/Fassler Hall

Hours: Weekends, 9:00 pm - 2:00 am

Job Description:

We are currently seeking reliable and vigilant individuals to join our team as Weekend Door Security Personnel at Fassler Hall/Dust Bowl. As a member of our security team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our patrons and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patrons in a friendly and professional manner upon entry.
• Verify the age and identification of patrons to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Monitor the crowd for any signs of unruly behavior or potential security threats.
• Enforce bar policies and regulations, including dress code and behavior standards.
• Manage entry and exit points to prevent overcrowding and maintain security.
• Handle any conflicts or disturbances calmly and effectively, utilizing conflict resolution techniques when necessary.
• Work closely with bar staff and management to address any security concerns or issues.
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents that may arise.
• Maintain a visible presence at the door to deter misconduct and promote a sense of security among patrons.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security or a related field preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Understanding of local laws and regulations pertaining to alcohol service and security.
