We are looking for an Economics & Business Teacher for a High school based in Shanghai. This is full-time positions and will commence in August 2023, coinciding with the upcoming academic year. About the schoolSituated in the bustling metropolitan of Shanghai, China, this bilingual school resides in the Pudong district and is spread across a terrain of 35,000 m2. It comprises of a kindergarten, primary, middle and high school divisions. The school offers courses that are based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs with the English language being the medium of instruction. Job responsibilitiesOrganizing and delivering economics and business related lectures to high school students.Preparing classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handoutsEvaluating a students' class work and assignments as well as recording and maintaining accurate student attendance records and gradesDeveloping teaching plans and lesson plans in line with syllabus providedGuiding or coaching students on extra-curricular activitiesCommunicating with parents when necessary Qualifications:Bachelor degree or higher, with a preference for a master’ degree in Economics, Business, or other related subjects.Successful experience teaching in an international setting (experience with high school students and experience with US AP curriculum preferred)Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and other teaching staff Salary and benefitsMonthly salary of 20,000 to 26,000 RMB before tax commensurate with experience and qualificationsMonthly housing allowance of up to 6,000 RMBFlight reimbursement up to 10,000 RMBMedical insuranceSummer and winter holidaysNational holidaysMeal allowance
