We are seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer to join our growing team in Houston, TX. Most of the sites we manage are a blend that uses WordPress and static HTML pages. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (JS), who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience building high-performance websites and a passion for user experience, design, and development best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
? Develop, maintain, and enhance websites with a focus on clean, scalable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (JS). ? Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to bring concepts to life with attention to detail and functionality.
? Ensure best practices in web development are followed, prioritizing usability, speed, and scalability.
? Troubleshoot issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance website performance and user experience.
? Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to implement cutting-edge solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
? 2+ years of professional experience in front-end web development with a focus on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
? Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries like jQuery.
? Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality across all tasks.
? Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
? Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
? A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and bringing innovative ideas to the table.
Proficiency and/or Familiarity with:
? JavaScript (JS) & jQuery
? SQL
? XML Schemas
? APIs
? AWS
? Git version control
? Figma for wireframes/prototypes
