We are seeking a skilled and compassionate **Medical Biller** to manage insurance claims, patient invoicing, and collections fully. The ideal candidate will bring not only extensive billing experience but also strong patient-facing communication skills, ensuring sensitive financial conversations are handled with professionalism and care.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage the full cycle of medical billing, including claim submissions, payment posting, and collections.
* Handle insurance claim follow-ups, appeals, and denials efficiently.
* Generate and manage patient invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
* Communicate confidently with patients to answer billing questions, resolve disputes, and collect outstanding balances with empathy and professionalism.
* Liaise with insurance providers and patients to ensure efficient claims resolution.
* Maintain organized and accurate billing records, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
* Proactively identify and resolve billing or claim issues to minimize delays in collections.
**Key Qualifications**
* Proven experience in **medical billing, insurance claims management, and collections**.
* Strong understanding of claim submission processes and denial management.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive patient conversations with compassion.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
* Comfortable working independently in a **remote, permanent work-from-home** environment.
