Job Description:Skillforce is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians and Helpers for commercial work in Wichita, KS. This is a contract role lasting approximately 6-8 weeks, working 40+ hours weekly, Journeyman pay is up to $36/hr. depending upon experience and licensing, Helper pay is up to $24/hr depending upon experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial or commercial electrical work, with experience in cable tray installation, wire pulling, equipment installation, and lighting fixture installation.
Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain industrial and commercial electrical systems.
Perform cable tray installation and organize electrical pathways according to project specs.
Pull and route low-voltage and high-voltage wiring through conduit and cable trays.
Install and troubleshoot electrical equipment, panels, and control systems.
Install and wire lighting fixtures, receptacles, and switches per blueprint specifications.
Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools
Competitive pay up to $32/hr
Potential for contract-to-hire for long-term stability
