As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving position, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

DayTimeMon12:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur12:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious behavior to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Assist visitors, customers, and employees with directions and information as needed.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
