Overview A loving family of soon-to-be five on the UES is seeking a full-time live-out nanny to join their family. There will be an NCS from December through June for the first six months (max) for the newborn. The primary focus at the moment is on the two older children, aged five and three. Eventually, it would include the third child. Additional part-time help can be hired at that time if the children's schedules are chaotic. The current schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7 am-7 pm, but there is the opportunity for it to possibly include Friday in the future. If the candidate is seeking more hours now, Sundays are always an option, although they would not need to be 12 hours that day. The five-year-old will be in school from approximately 7:30 am-4 pm daily. The three-year-old will attend school, mornings until about 1 pm daily. The family resides in NYC during the school year but spends their summers in the Hamptons from July through Labor Day. The family is looking for someone to start on September 2 to overlap with the current nanny who is departing a few days later. They are seeking longevity! Responsibilities Daily childcare of school-aged children Prepping bags for school and after-school activities Pick up 5-year-old from Kindergarten at the bus stop Meal prep/cooking for the children is a plus Bedtime routine Live-in (arriving Sunday eve) Monday through Thursday, during July through Labor Day, in the Hamptons. Note: There is a separate bedroom/bathroom in the Hamptons. Qualifications Easy personality who will work together to help raise the children Happy, loving nature but stern when it is appropriate/needed Jewish family that values their culture/religion - seeking someone with similar views or just not political/judgemental Speaking a second language is a plus Requirements Legal to work in the US Clean and valid driver's license Comfortable swimming/in the water Fully vaccinated and up to date Seeking longevity Must be comfortable working with a dog in the home Comfortable to live-in during the summer weekdays in Hamptons Salary and Benefits The family is open to offering a competitive salary, depending on experience, to the right candidate.
