The Licensed Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services following physician orders and departmental policies under clinical supervision. Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapies, interpreting ABG values, ensuring equipment functionality, documenting patient data, and educating patients on care procedures. The role requires certification, licensure, and experience primarily in a hospital setting, with adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Services Medical Director and Clinical Coordinator, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies and procedures.
