Job Summary:
Rifled Air Conditioning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile School Bus Technician to join our team in High Point, North Carolina. As a Mobile School Bus Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on school buses at customer locations, ensuring that our vehicles are in top working condition and comply with all safety and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal cadidate should have a strong mechanical background and school bus and/or heavy duty mechanical experience, preferred. 


Compensation & Benefits:
This role offers a competitive hourly salary of $22 to $25 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.

Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer locations to perform maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair school buses
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on school buses according to manufacturer specifications
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Perform repairs and replacements on various bus components, including engines, transmissions, air conditioning systems
- Document all work performed, including parts and labor, using our internal systems
- Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring their satisfaction with our services
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards while performing maintenance and repairs
- Keep a clean and organized work area and ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a school bus or heavy-duty truck technician
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision
- Willingness to travel to customer locations and work varied hours as needed
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
