Nephrologist 1.0 FTE -Renton, WA Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Nephrologist to join our clinic in our network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Nephrology team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients. This team is highly collaborative, cohesive, and engaged. Many on staff have been with the team for several years. About the position: Manages clinic, hospital, and area dialysis center patients Flexible schedule Work weeks vary: 5 day/week when on hospital long or short call 4 day/week - Clinic and dialysis rounding; 1day/week admin Call: 1:7 (includes nights and weekends) Nurse Practitioner helps with dialysis rounding Average # of patients seen per day in Clinic: 15-18 Average Hospital census: 25-27 split amongst 2 providers Practitioners- 6 physicians, 1 ARNP helping with dialysis rounds.
