Job Description

• The Phlebotomist I represents the face of the company to patients and supports patient care by greeting them, assisting with check-ins, and addressing questions with care and compassion.
• This role also maintains the waiting area and provides support when other phlebotomists are unavailable.
• The individual will be trained in phlebotomy to grow within the organization.
• The position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to uphold confidentiality and accuracy in patient information.

• 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (retail, home health aide, etc.) REQUIRED.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• No prior phlebotomy experience required.

• Perform daily activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Greet patients and assist with check-ins in the lobby.
• Support maintenance of the waiting area.
• Learn and perform phlebotomy skills once trained.
• Maintain documentation and records as required.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and employees.
