Psychiatrist - Bronx, NY (#3008)

Minimum of 2 years experience in previous mental health setting, outpatient clinic, or hospital

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Psychiatrist to fill an opening with a network of federally qualified community health centers located in Bronx, New York.

Responsibilities of the Psychiatrist:

• As key mental health professionals, the Psychiatrist will prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
• He/She will collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to discuss care plans and progress in collaborative team approach model.

Requirements

• Must have an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of accredited residency program in psychiatry
• Must be Board Certified
• Must have a valid NY State license, CDS, DEA, and BLS, medicaid number
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in previous mental health setting, outpatient clinic, or hospital
• Understanding of and passion for Community Healthcare is preferred

Benefits

• The salary for this position is $260,000 - $315,000 / yr
