Description:

• Our client is looking to bring on a QA Lead for a contract.
• Our client does not currently have a formal testing team in place, so this person will ultimately be responsible for building out this team and overall automated testing strategy. This role will impact the delivery quality of multiple large Information Technology initiatives.
• The Quality Assurance Manager must be able to work cross-functionally, communicate up and down within the Information Technology and Finance organizations, manage testing schedules, create test plans, cultivate precise test scripts, and coordinate execution of SIT and UAT efforts.
• Currently they are utilizing their Project Managers and Developers to complete Testing tasks.
• They are currently experiencing 7 failures per 35 test scripts and need to remedy this while building out an org wide strategy.

Must Haves:

• Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience leading QA teams of 3-5 .
• They should also have previous experience building out automated testing strategies using a tool like, UFT One (this is what they are using), Selenium, Katalon, Tosco, or similar tool.
• The successful candidate will interface with their Information Technology teams and participate in continuous improvement of their methodologies.
• This position resides within the IT Program Management Office (PMO.)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
6 years within a QA/Test team with scope of multiple, technically complex projects.
Experience with contemporary Test Automation software such as UFT One, Katalon, or Tosca.
Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Lean/Six Sigma.
Experience working with global, hybrid teams and project resources.
Thorough knowledge of contemporary Software Development Life Cycle practices.
Demonstrable competency with Atlassian tools and/or MS DevOps.
