We are a locally owned, specialty retail wine shop with 20 years in Portland. We have a strong retail presence both in-store and online, publish multiple weekly email newsletters, and ship around the country. We are looking for a full-time in-store Sales Associate. With the holidays just around the corner, we are looking to hire immediately. The position would offer 40 hours per week on a regular weekly schedule with flexibility should the right candidate desire. Applicants must be 21 years or older, be able to demonstrate wine knowledge, have excellent communication skills and be able to lift a 40lb case. Applicants must also be able to communicate effectively by phone, email & in-person, as the position involves extensive customer service. Applicants with experience in sales writing, data entry, MailChimp, WordPress, luxury retail customer service, and Microsoft Excel will be given priority.
