Job Description

As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrols in Garner, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a valued team member with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. In this position, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to situations with agility and reliability. Pay Rate: $18.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post; a valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
