Job Description

As a Security Officer Industrial Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and management, addressing any concerns and responding to situations as they arise. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as directed by site-specific protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
