About the Role
The company is looking for a dynamic Senior Credit Executive to lead the oversight and management of our loan portfolio. This critical position focuses on proactively monitoring credit risk and ensuring that our lending practices align with the organization's strategic goals. You will establish robust internal controls and develop comprehensive policies and procedures for extending credit. Your expertise will be vital for creating a strong credit culture across various lending units.
As the Senior Credit Executive, you will drive all aspects of the credit risk management function, including crafting, executing, and communicating credit policies. We seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, and additional training in lending, compliance, examination, or audit is advantageous.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of experience in consumer, real estate, or commercial lending within a banking environment. Proven skills in credit risk analytics, policy development, and internal risk rating scorecards are essential. A strong background in C&I and commercial real estate lending, along with comprehensive knowledge of credit risk management and the credit approval process, is crucial.
This role also requires expertise in loan structure, administration, and business development, paired with a history of successful leadership and management in a financial institution.
