About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in CAD design, specializing in the development and enhancement of beverage and coffee machines. The ideal candidate will lead the mechanical design efforts, from concept through prototyping to production, ensuring innovative, reliable, and efficient products that meet market and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems for beverage and coffee machines using advanced CAD tools (e.g., Fusion , SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Conduct simulations, performance analyses, and testing to validate designs and improve product reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, industrial designers, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing mechanical projects by analyzing performance data and implementing design optimizations focused on thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material selection.
• Manage projects from design concept to production, including scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation management (BOMs, assembly instructions, test plans, reviewing tool mold designs).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design with a strong focus on CAD in the beverage or coffee machine industry.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Fusion, SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science relevant to beverage machine design.
• Proficiency in designing and evaluating sheet metal and plastic injection mold tooling for manufacturing application.
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects and deliver on schedule.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of innovative design solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
• Experience in prototype testing, quality assurance, and design for manufacturability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance related to food and beverage equipment. (NSF/ANSI-18,51,& 61, ISO 22000, ISO 9001)
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
