\n Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: \n\n

\n\t
• COPD/Pulmonary Diseases, Heart Failure, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Renal Failure, Sepsis, ETOH/CIWA and IVDA, tracheostomies requiring mechanical ventilation, continuous BIPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, hypothermia regulation, and titratable IV drips\n

\n Patient Ratios: \n\n

\n\t
• RN: 1:3-4\n\t
• CNA: 1:9\n

\n
\n Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: \n\n

\n\t
• RN:  BLS, ACLS, NIHSS\n

\n
\n Skills required: \n\n

\n\t
• RN:  Experience with the above patients, experience with trached/vented patients, temporary/transvenous pacemaker, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, trach care, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.\n

\n Technology/Equipment: \n\n

\n\t
• EMR: EPIC\n\t
• IV Pump: Alaris\n\t
• Med dispensing: Omnicell\n\t
• Monitors: Phillips\n\t
• Rover Communication\n\t
• Virtual Nursing (helps with Admission/Discharge, Virtual Observation of patients, can sign off as RN witness for certain meds)\n

\n Floating: \n\n

\n\t
• Within region and scope of practice\n\t
• Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice –   DECLINE if not agreeable \n\t
• Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital)\n\t
• If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)\n
