Ashley Furniture HomeStore, the #1 Mattress and Furniture retailer in North America, has an immediate opening for a Creative Specialist. The ideal candidate executes creative strategy given by the Creative Manager and senior creative team members. This entry-level multidisciplinary design position will focus primarily on digital design projects, but will occasionally assist in print and collateral design as needed.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Foundational understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Specifically Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe After Effects)
• Foundational understanding of creative best practices, digital design best practices, and current industry trends.
• Strong grasp of the Principals of Design.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Must be comfortable taking art-direction, communicating with internal clients, and working under tight timelines.
• Self-starter attitude and motivated to grow.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic understanding of animation also required.
• Video editing or copywriting skills a plus.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES :

• High School Diploma required.Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design preferred
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, Expert in the Adobe Suite
